The Light Art VR Experience

During the Light Art virtual reality experience everything will look three-dimensional to your eyes. It will feel as if you are walking in these sacred places and when you look at Kaaba, you are going to feel its real size and blessed presence.

This is a fully immersive approach in story-telling, where audience are not merely watching the story, but rather living inside each scene as if they were part of it! There is no offset, no blind spots. You can literally look anywhere you want during the whole experience!

About the Event

MAS-DC’s upcoming 3rd Annual Prophetic Guidance Conference to be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at MASDC MAS Community Center. Our mission is to provide Tarbiya (cultivation) in the development of future Muslim leaders and this can only happen with a deep understanding of, and connect with, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This Seerah conference seeks to highlight the Prophet’s connection and impact on the community; with the hope of stimulating positive growth as a community.

This year the event will address the topic of: Prophetic Paths to an Affectionate Community: Building Affection Through Wisdom & Virtue. Our key note speaker is Ustadh Ubaydullah Evans.

The event will include Quranic Recitation, readings from AlBurdah (in English & Arabic) by Imam Ibrahim Hakim; as well as the latest light Virtual Reality of Prophet Musa's story.

Babysitting for kids ages 2-4 will be available, as well as a specialized youth program & activities for children ages 5-12.

Snacks & Refreshments will be available throughout the event.
